Medha recently organized an entrepreneurship workshop for all students at Jawahar Lal Nehru Polytechnic, Mahmudabad (JLNP)  120 students from Dairy Technology, Agriculture Engineering, and Electronics Engineering participated in the event to learn more about potential opportunities to start their own venture in various fields.

Senior scientist and ex-director of Biotech Park, Lucknow, Mr. Prahlad Seth introduced the basic principles and importance of entrepreneurship and explained how it can result in greater overall economic growth for the country. He also briefed the students on the entrepreneurial potential in the field of organic farming, tissue culture, and horticulture farming. Along with Mr. Seth, ISRO scientist Dr. D.K. Mishra also presented, where he talked to the students about start-up possibilities in the field of remote sensing and electronics.

The event was the joint effort of Medha and JLNP and aimed to demystify entrepreneurship for young people from small towns that currently lack quality job creation. It was a great success and we look to replicate it across campuses where we work.
