Chris is Co-Founder of Medha, a nonprofit working to get youth in India into rewarding careers of their choice. Since 2011, Medha has impacted over 400,000 young people across 1,000+ educational institutions in four states — with a J-PAL randomized controlled trial confirming strong gains in employment, earnings, and the transition from school to work.
Prior to founding Medha, Chris led business development at SKS Microfinance in Hyderabad, where he launched new products and managed growth initiatives across urban microfinance, health insurance, and mobile banking. Before that, he held roles in private equity, strategic consulting, and skills development across India and the United States.
His work has been recognized through Echoing Green, Ashoka, and Rainer Arnhold fellowships.
Chris holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an MA from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
