Shamim has completed 4 years as part of the Operations team at Medha. He has worked as a facilitator, counselor, and trainer – especially enjoying his work during the STPC project. Before joining Medha, he completed English Honours and a Masters in Social Work from Aligarh Muslim University.

Belonging to a small village in Uttar Pradesh, Shamim moved to Gorakhpur to complete his schooling. He acknowledges how failing Class 12th due to homesickness was the year that taught him the most in life.

Shamim has been an active cadet with the NCC in college, where he learned many life lessons during training. He likes to drive and cook. He also enjoys hosting people for meals and finds pleasure in giving.
