We are proud to announce that seven of our Career Advancement Bootcamp (CAB) students recently joined Gobind Industries, an agriculture machinery manufacturer based in Barabanki, UP.

Both agriculture and mechanical engineering students from two government polytechnics – Feroz Gandhi Polytechnic in Raebareli and Jawahar Lal Polytechnic in Mahmudabad, these young Medha alumni have relocated over 150km and secured positions in their field of study, no small feat unfortunately for many coming out of the polytechnic system.

Shalini and Sapna are really breaking the status quo, two young women relocating four hours away to work at a manufacturing company where there are only four other women at the plant! They are both working in the R&D department and Shalini shared her experience so far, “I [get to] work on Auto CAD and have completed several [design] projects in just a few months at Gobind Industries. I am happy that I am learning something new every day and get to pursue my area of interest as a mechanical engineering student. I am extremely thankful to Medha for providing me this opportunity, I didn’t know about Gobind and this kind of work before I went through Medha’s CAB program.”

We are extremely proud of all our students placed at Gobind and look forward to seeing how things progress!
