Medha recently partnered with Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Lucknow, an autonomous school run under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, to deliver our Life Skills Advancement Bootcamp (LAB) to students. We started off the year by training 84 class 9th students.

Over the 30 sessions of LAB, students engaged in classroom and out-of-classroom activities aimed at building self-identity, confidence, teamwork, and public speaking. Students were also introduced to various academic and career paths available to them. Ninth grade is a critical time in the Indian education system, as board exams are fast approaching, and some difficult decisions need to be made that have long-term ramifications. We loved the change of pace working with younger students and look forward to expanding our programming for adolescents in the future.

I want to become a doctor and after completing Medha’s LAB, I am confident that I can achieve my goal. Now I  know what steps I need to take to become a doctor and what my strengths are. I give whole credit to Medha for this.” – Mohit Gautam, Class 9.
