For the first time, Medha organized a learning journey we are aptly calling Rubaru to the historic city of Agra. The inaugural yatra was aimed at creating an opportunity for alumni to gain broader exposure, reflect and think about their own personal goals and aspirations, and foster friendships and greater peer networks amongst the growing community.

The group of selected 25 Medha alumni visited the Taj Mahal, took part in a series of team-building and leadership activities, and created ‘life maps’ to reflect on where they’ve been and where they want to go. They were also introduced to the concept of Ikigai – finding a purpose in life and a reason for waking up every morning. The trip concluded on a high note with the students motivated to work hard and excited to be a part of any such similar trip in the future.

“I have never been on a trip like this, traveling on my own, meeting such diverse people, and sharing life’s most precious moments. Apart from the Taj, I am taking away so many friends and an inspiration to work harder in life.” – Shveta Pal, Medha Alum.
