Students start their careers at Best Western Hotel

Medha recently helped four students secure a variety of positions at Hotel Levana, a local franchisee of the global hospitality company, Best Western. Mohd. Faizal and Mohd. Zaman, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning students from Unity Industrial Training Institute (ITI), will be working in the service and maintenance department on the hotel’s industrial power and air conditioning systems, while Raj Kumar Gaur, a B.A. student from University of Lucknow, will join as a purchasing and inventory manager. A dramatic improvement from the seasonal, informal sector opportunities these students’ peers typically get, we are extremely proud they will be starting a career, not just ‘getting a job.’

Last but not least, Saloni Bansal, a BCom Industry Integrated student from Avadh Girls’ Degree College, will also be joining Hotel Levana for a six-month internship in the human resources department. Hoping to pursue an MBA in HR after college, Saloni will build the necessary domain experience that will help her immensely on her post-grad applications and beyond.
