Medha recently signed two landmark agreements with the University of Lucknow (http://www.lkouniv.ac.in) and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University (http://www.ddugu.edu.in). Under the agreement, Medha will be providing three Career Development Programs as sanctioned Certificate Courses on campus. Combined, the two universities cater to over 400,000 students across 275 affiliated colleges in the state.

“State Universities in India do not have formal structures and processes in place for providing a holistic approach towards career counselling, developing placement opportunities and training for students seeking employment after education. There is a shortage of both faculty and resources to provide the quality of experience students will appreciate and that will positively impact their professional ambitions. Any existing efforts by the Universities are in their nascent stages and this is where Medha’s efforts go a long way in providing a much needed service.

A collaboration with Medha is a key value addition to the fabric of an institution. The availability of guidance, counselling, training and placement opportunities from a single source on the campus is both an invaluable and convenient asset for the students. The Department of English and Modern European Languages at the University of Lucknow has found its synergistic relationship with Medha to be pleasant. We hope their efforts reach a larger number of students as their presence on the campus becomes increasingly recognized and appreciated.”

This is a significant milestone for Medha as it aims to further integrate it’s program into the existing education system. You can read more about the partnership in the Times of India article below and online here:
