Medha's partnership with Pantaloons grows

Aditya Birla Group’s Pantaloons UP branch has officially become Medha’s newest skill development partner and will formally extend support to our skill building initiatives. On Monday, March 20th, students from Unity Mission school and Arya Kanya Pathshala Degree College visited Pantaloons at Phoenix Mall in Alambagh. The students are in Medha’s Life Skills Advancement Bootcamp and they were excited to get a glimpse of the inner workings of a thriving retail business. The group was introduced to the store manager who showed them around the sales floor, detailing the work the front support staff is responsible for. They learned about floor layouts, design display, product placement, and the day-to-day duties of customer service representatives.

The young students also had the opportunity to meet the head of HR and learn about the administrative duties happening behind the scenes. The store manager and HR manager shared their stories of how they got started at Pantaloons and the success’ and challenges they have come across over the years. The students were very engaged and had some intriguing conversations with the Pantaloons’ staff. We’re looking forward to bringing our incoming batch back to Pantaloons for another successful industry exposure visit.
