After being a journalist for two years, Alisha made a sly switch in her career to get into the social sector. She is interested in themes around youth, mental health, and gender.
Alisha has worked with women, youth, and children across UP, Bihar, and Haryana in various capacities, such as a life skills facilitator, marketing manager, and writer. She has also worked as a freelance writer and has contributed to several popular youth magazines, like Breakthrough India, Youth ki Aawaz (Voice of the Youth), and Newstimes Post.
Coming from brave, Punjabi-Muslim parentage, Alisha strongly believes in free speech, love, and human rights.
