Medha is now at Gorakhpur University
4th December 2015: Magistrate Gorakhpur, Shri Ranjan Kumar (IAS) and Prof. Ashok Kumar Vice-Chancellor DDUGU, Gorakhpur inaugurated the Medha Career Services Centre at Delegacy Bhawan, DDU Gorakhpur University today.
The inaugural ceremony took place at Samvad Bhawan and was followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Medha Career Services Centre located at Delegacy Bhawan, DDU Gorakhpur University.
The Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University is one of the largest universities in Uttar Pradesh with more than 4000 students enrolled in various courses.
Chief Guest of the evening Shri Ranjan Kumar (IAS), District Magistrate shared anecdotes from his IIT days and said “It is very important for students nowadays to have self-acquired skills. In the competitive word today, it does not matters where you are from what matters is what you have learnt that sets you apart, Medha will provide you that edge”
Prof. Ashok Kumar, Vice-Chancellor DDU Gorakhpur University presided over the function and requested all the department heads to provide encouragement and support to the students enroll in the Medha Skills development program.
Shri Byomkesh Mishra, Co-Founder Medha, spoke about the association and explained about various programs that Medha plans to conduct at the University. Medha will be providing three Career Development Programs as sanctioned Certificate Courses on campus. The courses include Career Advancement Bootcamp (CAB) which will cover sessions on career preparation, industry exposure, and leadership development; Technical Skills Advancement Bootcamp (TAB) covering basics of computer usage, MS Word, MS Power Point and MS Excel ; Life Advancement Bootcamp (LAB) aimed at helping the students deal with the professional as well as personal challenges in life.
